Hello, my name is Anup Lamsal, and I am a backend developer with over 3 years of experience in building scalable web applications using Node.js. My expertise lies in creating robust APIs, optimizing database performance, and building fully functional & scalable applications. I have strong skills in Node.js and its ecosystem, including Express, Nest JS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Sock et.IO. Additionally, I have experience in RESTful API design and implementation, database management (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL), test-driven development (Jest, SuperTest), front-end services (Html, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJs, Redux Thunk & Toolkit, Sass, Chakra UI). I have worked previously on a fully functional project which includes system design, database design, and implementation based on the project’s needs.
Worked as a Back end developer at Code Himalaya for more than 1.5 years, focusing on building and maintaining scalable systems. During my time here, I have gained hands-on experience in several technologies that have expanded my skills in server-side development, database management, and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD).
As a Junior Backend Developer, I gained experience in both frontend and backend technologies. On the frontend, I worked with JavaScript DOM, React JS, and HTML Canvas. On the backend, I specialized in PostgreSQL, Knex, and database design while also implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines. I successfully built a backend project that included features such as authentication, authorization, API fetching, role-based access control, and enhanced security measures.
As a Intern/Junior Backend Developer, I was able to manage database structure and data flow with REST APIs. Updated the Clinic system platform using Express, MongoDB, and Node.js. I used MongoDB pipelines and queries for business logic like statistics & reports and client data queries. We delivered a solution that met project requirements and overall it was a great learning experience for me. I get knowledge about how to work in a company and working on their policy, I get to make myself more productive and think more strategically.

As a personal freelancing project, I got opportunity to work for Indoor Sports and Recreational Center system, a platform designed to showcase and manage the premier indoor sports and entertainment facilities in Chitwan. The system highlights state-of-the-art amenities, including futsal courts, indoor cricket pitches, and a modern swimming area, offering users a seamless experience to explore and book their favorite activities. My role involved creating a user-friendly interface and ensuring robust backend functionality, delivering a solution that supports to both sports enthusiasts and recreational users seeking an active lifestyle.

During the internship, I developed web applications using NodeJS and collaborated with front-end tools to create user-friendly applications. I built an authorization and authentication system, added profile and education fields, implemented CRUD features for posts and comments, and successfully delivered solutions that met project requirements and expectations.
As a developer working in agile methodology, I developed full-stack web applications that were compatible across all browsers and devices. My main goal was to build practical systems and features such as room booking, food ordering and delivery, and check-in and check-out systems for both client and admin panels. Working as a team, we successfully built all the given sections for a full flex system through proper planning, technical skills, and expertise from team members.
